THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior Office Administrator / Operations Co-ordinator with strong financial skills to help keep everything on track. Someone quietly confident, organised, and numbers savvy.

This is a hybrid role (roughly 80% WFH), but you’ll spend time in the Melbourne city office, working alongside the Directors and the EA. It's important you can get in to the office when the team does.

The culture is focused and respectful, with enough banter to keep things human. These engineers are uber serious about their work, but approachable when it counts.

DAY TO DAY
Reporting to the Director, you’ll work with the broader admin and accounts team to keep projects moving and the business humming. This role blends structure with flexibility: clear tasks, but autonomy in how you approach them. You’ll need to be self-sufficient about 85% of the time, but there’s always someone to check in with.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance (60%)

  • Bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing, forecasting and reporting
  • Xero entries and co-ordination with the accountant
  • Tracking project budgets and ensuring accurate, timely invoicing

Project Support 20%, HR Admin 10%, Other projects 10%

YOU - YOU'RE IDEALLY

  • Experienced in admin and finance within a professional services or technical environment (e.g. engineering)
  • Skilled with Office 365 (especially Excel)
  • Confident using Xero
  • A pro working independently; proactive with communication
  • Qualified in business or administration

EXTRAS

  • Salary range: $85,000–$105,000 + Super (depending on experience)
