About the role
As a Telecommunications Technician at Titan ICT Pty Ltd, (multiple positions available) you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting our client's radio telecommunication systems including fixed and mobile DMR infrastructure, as well as installation and breakdown repair of leaky feeder cable and amplifiers. Based in Central Tablelands New South Wales this 12 month contract (potential for extension) will see you work closely with our client and their engineering teams to ensure reliable and efficient communication services across above ground and underground mining facilities.

What you'll be doing

Performing installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication equipment, including repeaters, mobiles, handheld radios, leaky feeder cables and related infrastructure

Fault-finding, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of the communications networks.

Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mine site telecommunication systems

Programming Digital Radios and Repeaters.

Documenting work performed and maintaining detailed records of all telecommunication assets

Providing technical support and training to end-users as required

What we're looking for

Relevant Trade Certificates

Experience in DMR installation, troubleshooting and repair in a mission critical environment

Working at heights certification

Demonstrated expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile radio telecommunications equipment.

Experience in leaky feeder installation and repair in an underground environment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly

Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients and colleagues

Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety procedures

A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required

Ability to pass drug and alcohol screens
