As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Data & Telecommunications Technician to join our dedicated team.

About the Role

As a Trainee Data & Telecommunications Technician, you will:

Assist in the installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems for both data and fibre optic networks.

Work alongside experienced technicians to learn industry best practices for cabling, testing, troubleshooting, and network equipment setup.

Develop skills in reading technical drawings, interpreting work specifications, and adhering to safety standards.

Support project teams on-site, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Gain hands-on experience with tools, materials, and the latest cabling technologies.

Receive comprehensive training and mentoring to support your development in the field.

What We’re Looking For

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Basic technical aptitude—experience using hand or power tools is helpful but not required.
