The Opportunity

Due to growth opportunities we are seeking a self motivated and technically skilled Area Manager / Agronomist to service and grow our portfolio in the Sunraysia and Riverina regions. The role is autonomous, reporting directly to the GM and focused on managing an established horticultural distribution network while driving new business growth in tree crop, wine and table grape segments.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and expand a well-established horticultural product portfolio through contact with customers and the reseller network.

•Develop new market share within perennial horticultural cropping systems (tree crop & grape).

•Conduct on-farm support, technical training, and product education for resellers and growers

•Drive demand generation through field visits, grower meetings, and trials.

•Achieve territory sales targets and manage your expense budget effectively.

About You

Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Horticulture (or a related field)

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in grower or retail-facing roles, ideally in viticulture and or tree crop

Strong technical knowledge in broadacre and/or horticulture agronomy

Understanding of the rural distribution network and a sales track record.

Self motivated, results driven, commercially focused and passionate about soil health and sustainability.

Australian Citizen and Current Australian Driver's License.
