As the Senior Cloud & Network Architect, you will play a pivotal role in maturing the cloud and network architecture that underpins Horizon Power's digital transformation. You will develop and govern comprehensive cloud and network strategies, roadmaps, and investment initiatives. By collaborating closely with business and technology teams, you will provide strategic advice and ensure that our solutions align seamlessly with Horizon Power's overarching goals.

What you’ll be doing:

• Cloud and Network Services Architecture: Develop and maintain cloud and network services architecture, including vision, principles, standards, and roadmaps.

• Centre of Excellence: Support the maturity of Cloud Centre of Excellence focused on cost, speed and agility.

• Architectural Governance and Leadership: Provide architectural governance, design standards and technical leadership across projects.

• Enable Delivery Success: Guide project teams to align with architectural principles and ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and future-ready.

• Drive Cloud Adoption: Lead initiatives that promote cloud services and platform maturity.

• Stakeholder Relationships and Strategic Advice: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and provide strategic advice on business and technology plans.

What you’ll bring:

• Extensive experience in IT, including significant years in cloud architecture roles.

• Deep knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Cloud Services, hybrid environments, and enterprise networking and security.

• Significant experience in cloud and network services architecture, AWS and MS Cloud Services, and managing network services in distributed environments.

• Demonstrated and proven experience in hybrid environment of COTS, SaaS, and bespoke applications, on-premise and private and public cloud deployments.

• Proven ability to drive cloud adoption and platform maturity in complex organisations.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.

• AWS and/or Microsoft Cloud Certifications, TOGAF 9 or 10 Certification
