Key Focus Areas:

As a Management Accountant & Transformation Analyst, you will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance team by supporting financial processes, providing analytical support and leading transformation initiatives. You will perform and analyse current financial processes, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to the implementation of new strategies and technologies that align with the organisation's objectives.

This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial and management accounting principles, and the ability to manage projects that drive change. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing insights and recommendations to optimise business processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The Management Accountant and Transformation Analyst performs the duties set out in this Position Description for Credabl and/or any Group company.

Key Responsibilities:

· Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and timely delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets at an entity and group level.

· Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting across each business unit.

· Performance Management: Oversee business performance through variance analysis, cost reviews, and KPI monitoring, along with other key activities that support continuous improvement.

· Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, provide insights, and implement best practices.

· Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, business processes, policies, and entity structures. Develop mechanisms to meet financier obligations and assist with outputs used for statutory audits.

· Process Optimisation: Conduct detailed reviews of financial processes, providing recommendations and implementing improvements that enhance productivity and align with business goals.

· Change Management: Lead finance transformation projects focused on process reengineering, automation, and digital innovation.

Key Requirements:

Knowledge

· Knowledge of finance transformation methodologies, including process automation, system integrations, and best practices for operational efficiency.

· Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

Skills

· KPI Development and Tracking: Ability to identify key performance metrics and develop mechanisms to monitor progress in alignment with business goals.

· Financial & Process Optimisation: Capability to assess, redesign, and implement finance processes that drive efficiency and scalability.

· Technology & Automation: Experience with finance systems, automation tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL), and ERP implementations to enhance reporting and decision-making.

· Data & Analytical Expertise: Proficient in handling large, complex datasets to extract insights and support strategic initiatives.

· Regulatory Compliance: Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, audit processes, and risk management frameworks.

· Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to engage cross-functional teams, influence senior leaders, and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

· Project & Change Management: Experience leading transformation projects from planning through execution in dynamic environments.

· Commercial & Strategic Mindset: Capable of balancing analytical accuracy with strategic insight to support broader business goals.

Experience

· Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

· Proven experience in finance transformation, including process automation and operational improvements.

· Experience in Banking, Finance or Management Consulting (desirable).

· Understanding and knowledge of the current and emerging regulatory, commercial, technology and operational trends.
