The Opportunity:

C3Talent is proud to partner with a thriving health and wellness organisation on the lookout for a proactive and detail-driven Payroll & Compliance Officer to join their People & Culture team. Whether you're processing payroll, tracking certifications, or supporting compliance initiatives, your work will ensure the team behind the scenes is supported just as well as those on the floor. Your Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end fortnightly payroll using Xero and Deputy
• Manage employee lifecycle changes: onboarding, exits, promotions
• Verify and process timesheets, allowances, and leave
• Keep payroll and employee data accurate and up-to-date
• Stay across awards, compliance obligations, and internal policies
• Coordinate commissions and contractor super
• Track employee certifications (First Aid, CPR, Blue Card, etc.)
• Support audits, generate reports, and assist with HR projects

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–3+ years’ payroll experience (Xero and Deputy preferred)
• A genuine interest in health, fitness, and living well
• High attention to detail with a methodical approach
• Passion for compliance, people ops, and process improvement
• Clear communicator with great written and verbal skills
