About the Role of Grain Bar Manager:
Reporting to the Director of Outlets, this role oversees the smooth operation of the Grain Bar, ensuring our guests have a memorable and flawless experience.
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will have a solid track record in high quality venues and bars, a passion for delivering a memorable experience and a hunger for delivering results, by cultivating a team culture that is fun, performance driven and constantly looking to evolve.
What you will do:
Maintain a strong operational presence to ensure service standards and the guest experience remain at an optimum
Provide leadership, development, support, coaching and constructive feedback for the team
Cultivate a culture that encourages people to connect and thrive, allowing people space to be themselves, whilst aligning the team with Food & Beverage Division goals
Drive performance, by setting metrics and benchmarks, identifying ways to improve how we do things and leading the way with industry trends
Be proactively involved with the recruitment, selection and retention efforts in order to ensure that top talent are sought, confirmed and retained
Develop strong relationships across the hotel, industry and with key suppliers, ensuring solid partnerships with those who will contribute to the success of Grain Bar
Closely managing labour and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions, stock control and quarterly stock take
Be actively involved in innovative menu curation for new menu launches and bar promotions
Achieve revenue and profit targets, participate in drafting and implementation of the marketing plan, drive up selling programs
Inspect and ensure the work area is in good condition at all times and up to date with PWT requirements
Support team members to take part in cocktail competitions to enhance their growth and exposure
What you will bring:
A minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership position in a high end/upmarket bar environment
Be a master of your craft with strong product knowledge and creative flair
Proven leadership qualities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with all stakeholders
A passion to provide an outstanding guest experience
Outstanding organisational and time management skills
A current NSW RSA certificate
Must be able to work evenings including weekends

Remuneration for this role is approximately $87,000 gross per annum plus incentive program, super and benefits.
