Senior Project Officer – Investigations Focus

Location: Parramatta (hybrid/WFH)
Rate: $70.45 - $77.63 per hour + super
Contract Duration: 28 July 2025 – 19 December 2025
Hours: Full-time, 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer with a strong investigative background and working knowledge of industrial relations law within the NSW public sector.

In this role, you’ll support a key government department by contributing to a range of investigative and compliance-related projects. You’ll be required to apply sound judgment, manage sensitive information, and operate within a regulatory or legislative framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake investigative and compliance-related project work
• Provide specialist advice and support on industrial relations and workplace issues
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support decision-making processes
• Liaise with stakeholders across government and ensure alignment with relevant legislative requirements

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in investigations, preferably within a NSW Government or public sector context
• Strong understanding of industrial relations and public sector employment frameworks
• Certificate IV in Government Investigations (highly desirable)
• Ability to manage complex matters with discretion and integrity
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills
