Compliance & Reporting Officer | 6-month Contract | $66.27/hour + super
A NSW Government department is seeking an experienced Compliance & Reporting Officer to support the delivery of a large, high-volume portfolio. This role will play a critical part in driving compliance, improving reporting processes, and supporting data-led decision-making across the program.
Key details:
- Contract to 30 January 2026
- Hybrid: 5 days per fortnight in-office (Parramatta location)
- Up to 40 hours/week
- $66.27/hour + super (PAYG or ABN)
The role:
You’ll be responsible for leading monthly, quarterly and annual reporting activities across a diverse and fast-paced delivery environment. Partnering with a Business Analyst and key stakeholders, you’ll ensure robust compliance processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help shape performance tracking frameworks that influence strategic outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage internal reporting cycles across all active projects, including data collation, analysis and dashboard development
- Identify and escalate compliance issues, working with stakeholders to ensure risks are addressed and prevented in future
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams, contractors, consultants and external service providers
- Oversee contract compliance and audit preparation, aligning with the broader governance framework
- Develop and maintain a continuous improvement database to support risk management, lessons learnt, and quality tracking
- Contribute to the development of performance and compliance frameworks that drive better program delivery outcomes
About You:
You’re a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in reporting, compliance or audit, ideally within a public sector or project delivery setting. You’re confident managing multiple priorities, communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, and using data to inform performance. Experience supporting multiple project sites or portfolios will be highly regarded.
