Are you an electrician that enjoys working solo and indoors?

Due to growth we are looking for an additional Smoke Alarm Electricians who are motivated and skilled electrical tradespeople that take pride in their work. You will be working solo in your own company provided van performing smoke alarm, services, installations and general electrical maintenance work on The Sunshine Coast.

You might be an older tech wanting to avoid crawling in roofs or a 1st year out wanting to gain experience in a growth industry. No smoke alarm experience required as we will train you on all you need to know.

The overview of the role:

Installing smoke alarms with precision, in alignment with relevant safety codes and regulations.

General domestic and small commercial electrical maintenance ( GPO, lights, fans, switches etc )

Conducting comprehensive inspections of existing smoke alarm systems to ensure operational efficiency.

Diagnosing and resolving any technical issues related to smoke alarms and safety switches.

Keeping records of installations, maintenance tasks, and testing outcomes. ( all on phone based apps )

Engaging with homeowners to educate them about the critical importance of smoke alarms and safety switches.

Requirements for the ideal candidate.

Electrical Workers Licence Queensland

Queensland Drivers licence

Clear National Police Check

Bluecard ( ideal but not essential )

Well presented, friendly and with excellent communication skills
