About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sonographer to join our dedicated team at BreastScreen SA. In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of delivering a high-quality breast ultrasound service for women across South Australia attending our assessment clinic. You will play a key role in ensuring excellence in diagnostic imaging and client care, helping to uphold the highest standards of clinical quality and compassion in every scan you perform.
Working with a high level of autonomy and professional independence, you will also contribute to the coordination of our sonography services. This includes mentoring and training fellow assessment radiographers and student sonographers, as well as providing guidance and supervision to support staff. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to working within the Code of Ethics for the South Australian Public Sector, including relevant directives, guidelines, and legislation.
Knowledge of and adherence to the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA), with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Ability to support workplace recovery and return-to-work processes under the Return to Work Act 2014 (SA), promoting the wellbeing of injured or unwell colleagues.
Compliance with immunisation and child safety requirements, as outlined by the SA Health policy directives, along with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace free from bullying and harassment.
