Electrical Project Engineer - Solar

NES Fircroft are partnering with a global resources client to source Electrical Project Engineers with demonstraed utility scale solar experience to support the development and dfelivery of the solar projects throughout WA.

• 12 month initial contract with strong project pipeline over the coming years
• Perth based role with WFH flexibility and site travel during execution phase of projects

About You

• Demonstrated experience in electrical/solar/power generation project delivery ideally within an Australian mining context
• Practical/project experience required
• Detailed knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals including but not limited to protection, earthing, conductor sizing
• Deep understanding of full project lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning
• Expertise in Solar and BESS design and component evaluation is highly regarded

Job Role

• Lead the design, budgeting, and scheduling of solar farm projects.
• Evaluate and optimise solar and BESS components for cost-effective project delivery.
• Present technical concepts and project updates to senior management.
• Oversee projects through the full lifecycle—from feasibility to commissioning.
