Library Officer (Casual)
Level 2 - $33.63 - $44.83 per hour + 12% superannuation
The Role
The responsibilities of the Library Officer include:
- Communication skills: Liaise with a range of stakeholders, predominately the Hedland community
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and accurate information to the Port Hedland community, along with assisting customers with the use of computers and mobile phones
- Proficient computer skills: Confident in ability to use a computer to perform tasks such as circulation of items, receiving payments, and completing memberships
- Develop and deliver library programs: These may include children, youth and technology programs

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class driver's license
- Rights to work in Australia
- Working with children check (or ability to attain one)
- First Aid certificate
