One of our clients are embarking on a large acquisition program which will be a large complex multi-year transformation. They have engaged us exclusively to source an experienced Change Lead with pervious experience in leading an M&A program. This is a hands-on role and requires a professional who can work in an environment where change is low maturity and requires resilience and able to work with many stakeholders internal and external parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead change management initiatives throughout the M&A process to ensure a seamless integration.
• Develop and execute robust change strategies and communication plans, aligning all stakeholders on the organisational vision and objectives.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership, HR, operations, and IT to address process and people-related changes.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor progress against change milestones.
• Create and deliver training and support materials to help employees adapt to new systems, structures, and cultures.
• Foster a culture of openness, transparency, and resilience across all levels of the business.

About You

• Proven experience leading M&A change management programs in complex business environments, preferably within retail or FMCG.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of retail operations, processes, and organiational dynamics.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Prospective candidates demonstrate the ability to manage ambiguity and drive results in fast-paced transformations.
• Certification in change management (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP, or equivalent) is desirable.
