My NSW Government client is looking for an experienced Change Analyst to work across a whole of organisation Workforce Reform. This role will report into the Change Lead and will involve hybrid work, with the work location based in Sydney CBD. The requirement is 2-3 days in the office but you may be required to visit the office more regularly depending on work demands.
The Change Analyst works closely with the Transition Lead, Realign project team and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to enable leaders and teams as they transition through change. The role develops and delivers key transition and change documentation, workshops and initiatives to support each business unit to minimise disruption and resistance, maximise change adoption and embedment, and maintain alignment of all change activities across the project.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the hands on change activities and assisting the Change lead across various end to end change related tasks for this change.
• Development of change documentation, impact assessments, and workforce transition plans.
• Facilitate workshops and change-related communications to minimise disruption and resistance while ensuring alignment and integration.

Skills and experience required:

• Proven experience as a Change Analyst, ideally across workforce reforms/re-orgs. This role is heavily focused on people impacts and changes to ways of working. Hands-on experience in conducting change impact assessments and delivering workforce transition initiatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all organisational levels.
• Hands-on experience in identifying change impacts, assessing risks, and supporting solution development.
• Strong relationship-building and conflict management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
• Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience in training design and delivery, including development of support materials.
• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and impacted teams to implement change roadmaps, communications, coaching, and training plans.
• Full Australian working rights and a willingness to obtain a police clearance are required.
