The Company
Our client, a leading Australian owned company with a strong brand portfolio and a loyal customer base, specialising in freight forwarding. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's ongoing success and support its strategic expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities
This is a permanent part-time position, offering approximately 25 to 30 hours per week, spread across multiple days.
- Manage and screen incoming phone calls, directing enquiries appropriately
- Enter and process supplier invoices with accuracy and efficiency
- Assist in preparing and scheduling payments in line with company procedures
- Reconcile and balance financial statements and accounts
- Oversee general office administration, including stationery and office supply ordering
About You
- Experience in customer service or administration within freight forwarding, import/export, or logistics
- Solid understanding of quoting processes and pricing structures
- Familiarity with CargoWise is highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service
