About The role
As a Digital Project Manager at WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA), you will play a pivotal role in delivering impactful digital initiatives that strengthen Western Australia's primary health care system. Reporting to the Executive General Manager - Digital Transformation, you will lead and support projects within the Digital Services Portfolio, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational values and strategic goals.
You'll be responsible for planning and executing digital projects, engaging stakeholders, managing change, and ensuring project hygiene through robust documentation and governance. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to meaningful health outcomes, and drive innovation in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
🔹Employment Type: Full-time 1 FTE Maximum term contract until 30th June 2026 (Possibility of extension)
🔹Location: WAPHA Head Office, Level 2, 1 Hood Street, Subiaco (Hybrid role)
🔹Salary: Band 5 ($110,465.31 Plus 12% Superannuation)
Core responsibilities:
- Lead and manage digital projects from initiation to completion
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Monitor progress and adapt plans to ensure successful delivery
- Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating when necessary
- Engage internal stakeholders to inform planning and technical decisions
- Support project documentation, reporting, and governance activities
- Facilitate team briefings and meetings to align efforts and objectives
- Develop and implement change management strategies
- Create communication and training materials to support stakeholder adoption
- Deliver high-quality work packages and technical planning support
- Ensure project outputs meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations
- Provide timely and relevant updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
About you
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following selection criteria:
Essential experience and education
- Tertiary qualifications in business, project management, human service delivery or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in project management with a focus on planning, improvement, audit, and quality governance
- Proven ability to develop and implement project management tools and methodologies
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in change management contexts
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively, using sound professional judgement
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop strategies and resolve issues
- Highly developed written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Proficiency in digital tools including word processing, software packages, and spreadsheets

The two key functions of the PHNs, which align with WAPHA’s vision, are:
