This is a newly created Senior Financial Accountant role, and they would welcome the solid foundation of training & ambition someone will bring from a top-tier chartered accounting firm. Being a medium-sized organisation means a broad role and a real opportunity for you to get exposure to tasks across management & financial accounting.

The Role

Supporting the Head of Finance, you would find this role fantastic to hone your accounting skills in a commercial environment. You will be involved & have responsibility for:

Financial statement preparation including P&L, balance sheet & cash flow.

Preparation and review of month-end processing, including reconciliations and journal entries.

Gathering key data and trends to generate reports, supporting FC in the consolidation of monthly, half-year, and year-end accounts and report packs.

Providing performance insights, analysis, and recommendations to internal stakeholders to support decision-making and drive business performance.

Working on transformation projects and helping the business align the finance controls & processes as they grow.

Ownership of the company asset register.

Ownership of finance operations, including answering inquiries from internal stakeholders and troubleshooting, with overseas AR, AP outsourcing support.

Your Background

Our client is looking for someone who:

Is outgoing, confident and loves working in a fast-paced, social environment

Is CA or CPA qualified

Has exceptional communication skills and will be able to work with sales agents, financial services institutions and senior executives with ease.

Either a senior-level Accountant with clear experience with financial statement preparation on your resume, OR a Big4/Mid-tier first-time mover, keen to hone your skills in a dynamic environment.
