About the role:

This is a hands-on, corporate-facing role for a technically strong accountant with experience across both tax and financial reporting. Working closely with the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in managing compliance, reporting and statutory obligations across multiple entities in Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead month-end processes including journals, intercompany recharges, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Deliver clear and concise analysis of financial results, highlighting key movements and trends
• Manage tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including BAS, GST, FBT and payroll tax
• Support financial reporting and year-end audit processes, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
• Mentor and support junior finance team members across transactional finance
• Contribute to finance transformation projects, including the rollout of new systems and automation tools

About You:

You're a technically strong Accountant with 3–5 years’ experience. Likely from a reputable accounting firm or large corporate, and you're ready to take the next step into a role with more ownership, exposure, and meaningful impact.

• CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion), with a degree in Accounting or Finance
• A solid foundation in tax compliance and statutory reporting
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian accounting and tax standards
• A service-first mindset with attention to detail and a natural ability to build trust across stakeholders
