Key Responsibilities:

• Regular catch-ups and genuine connections with Newcastle businesses and local families — from small operators to larger enterprises.
• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns (ITRs).
• Division 7A, CGT, and FBT calculations.
• Working independently, but always with the support of a down-to-earth, friendly team.

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm.
• Completed, studying, or keen to start your CA/CPA.
• Confident with cloud-based software (or keen to learn).
• Strong communication skills to build long-term relationships with local clients and collaborate with the team.
