The Accounting Division is a boutique accounting firm offering tax and business advisory services to small and medium sized businesses, and individuals.

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team, who will be providing accounting services to clients whilst ensuring excellent customer relationships are developed and maintained throughout the process.

About the role

Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and BAS's for family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships & Individuals

Reviewing of working papers & financial statements

Liaising with clients and government organisations in a timely and professional manner (incl. ASIC and ATO)

Meeting with clients to complete Individual Tax Returns

Collaboration with social media & newsletter content

About you:

We are looking for someone with a passion for helping small businesses grow. You will also need to have excellent communication and problem solving skills, a 'can-do' attitude, and a desire to learn.

You will have:

Desire to complete CA

Minimum 3 year's experience in public practice as an accountant

Back to front knowledge of Xero

Ability to learn and use other industry related software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem solving and numerical skills

A positive and driven attitude
