About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our high-quality care services. This is a multifaceted position that requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor our team of dedicated support staff, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Operational Excellence: Oversee all day-to-day operations, implementing and refining business processes to enhance efficiency and quality of care.

Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure our staff have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional support.

Financial Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive overview of the business's financial health, contributing to budgeting and financial planning.

Client-Centered Service: Act as a key point of escalation for client concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.

Incident Management: Respond effectively to incidents, demonstrating a calm and decisive approach to complex and challenging situations.

Strategic Decision-Making: Utilise your sharp analytical skills to make confident and timely decisions that drive the business forward.

About You

You are a natural leader with a passion for making a difference. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are known for your ability to think on your feet and navigate complex situations with ease. Your key attributes include:

● A formal qualification in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field.

● A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar management role, enabling you to pick things up quickly.

● Advance MS-Suite skills including excel.

● Intuitive understanding of various IT systems and software is highly desirable.

● Exceptional ability to interpret and adapt to diverse communication styles, from clients to staff and external stakeholders.

● Proven experience in a management role, preferably within the disability or community services sector.

● Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on creating a supportive and high-performing team.

● Excellent decision-making abilities, with the confidence to act decisively in challenging situations.

● A genuine commitment to the values of person-centered care and a desire to contribute to a more inclusive community. Lived experience with disability, either personally or through close connections, will be highly regarded.
