Transport Operations Supervisor

Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for transport, safety, and team development? We are seeking a hands-on operations leader to lead a team and oversee the efficient, compliant, and customer-focused delivery of transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and manage daily fleet operations, ensuring compliance with fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility legislation.

Report on DIFOT and operational performance to the Operations Manager.

Maintain safety and regulatory compliance through routine audits, reporting, and corrective actions.

Lead and support a team of drivers, administrators, leading hands, and subcontractors.

Manage payroll, attendance, and team training needs.

Monitor and utilise operational systems to drive performance and productivity.

What You’ll Bring:

Strong knowledge of road transport regulations, including Standard Hours and BFM.

Experience in fleet scheduling, compliance auditing, and safety reporting.

Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and a methodical approach to administrative tasks.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a can-do attitude.

High attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
