About the Position:
The College of Government, Business and Law is seeking a Lecturer in Public Policy and Public Administration (Teaching Specialist) to contribute to the quality planning and delivery of undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching with a focus on foundational topics. Passionate about student-centred learning, you bring experience in curriculum design, engaging teaching practices, and inclusive, cross-cultural delivery. You will also actively contribute to the delivery of the college's offshore programs and executive education offerings.

This position is open to international candidates and relocation and visa support is available.

About You
You are a committed and student-focused educator with a passion for public policy and administration. With a focus on real-world relevance and innovative pedagogy, you are passionate about preparing students for impactful public service careers.

Additional responsibilities for this Teaching Specialist position include:

  • Completion of a PhD
  • Demonstrated experience or ability to deliver offshore programs (i.e. in China) (Desirable). Some interstate and overseas travel may be required.
  • Demonstrated experience or ability to deliver executive education programs for the Public Sector (Desirable).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in any of the following areas: Asian/East Asian region; quantitative/analytical methods for policy analysis; ability to integrate First Nations' perspectives (Desirable).
