The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Collections Officer to join our Adelaide-based team. This role is essential to delivering a fantastic service experience throughout the collections journey.
As a key member of our collections team, you’ll proactively manage accounts, support internal stakeholders, and ensure all actions are completed in line with company expectations and timeframes.
Key Responsibilities-
Deliver results: Ensure high-quality arrears management by proactively and thoroughly communicating and negotiating with clients throughout all stages of the collections process, in alignment with company policies
Outstanding Customer Service in paramount in this role as we provide end to end 1 call resolution to all clients.
Action collections accounts within business timeframes and service levels.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all customer communications and account activity.
Work collaboratively across teams to resolve disputes or issues quickly and professionally.
Identify and escalate account trends, risks, or concerns to the Customer Service & Collections Manager.
Contribute to compliance and continuous improvement in the collections process.

Strong time management and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic collections or credit environment.
A strong team player who can also work autonomously.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Empathy and patience to understand and support customers.
Ability to spot trends and raise ideas or concerns when needed.
Self-motivation and a sense of pride in delivering great customer service.
