Our client is a well-established accounting firm based in Balwyn, renowned for delivering high-quality professional services to a loyal and diverse client base.

They are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support their accountants and assist with the day-to-day bookkeeping needs of their clients.

About the Role:

Working closely with the accounting team, you’ll be responsible for:

Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS

Managing daily bookkeeping tasks and account reconciliations

Using Xero and other accounting platforms

Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries

Assisting with reporting, data entry, and compliance tasks

About You:

The ideal candidate will bring:

Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting support role

Strong proficiency in Xero (experience with MYOB or QuickBooks is a bonus)

A good understanding of BAS preparation and bookkeeping processes

Exceptional attention to detail and time management

A professional, client-focused approach

The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
