The Dental Assistants Professional Association (DAPA) is a leading not-for-profit organisation and Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 90424), providing nationally recognised education and professional support to dental assistants across Australia.

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Training Manager to lead our small but high-performing training and compliance team. Reporting to the CEO, this leadership role is responsible for:

Leading end-to-end training operations, student lifecycle support, and quality assurance.

Ensuring full compliance and reporting with ASQA, Smart and Skilled, and AVETMISS

Have a detailed understanding of the new ASQA Standards

Developing new training products aligned with industry needs

Collaborating with commercial clients to deliver tailored training solutions

Proficient in VETtrak Student Management System and aNewSpring LMS administration

Experience with AVETMISS reporting and compliance software

Strong digital literacy and data management skills

Leading staff, trainers, and student support officers

Maintaining strong stakeholder engagement with regulators, partners, and students.

This role is offered 3 days per week, based in our Stanmore office.

Essential Qualifications:

TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher)

Relevant vocational qualification in dental assisting or related field

Current industry experience in vocational education

Required Experience:

Minimum 3 years experience in RTO management

Demonstrated experience with ASQA compliance and audits

Proven track record in managing VET operations

Prerequisites:

Valid Working with Children Check

National Police Check

Right to work in Australia
