We’re seeking an experienced Principal Consultant with strong sales & leadership abilities to join our team and take ownership of key client relationships, candidate placements, and the development of a high-performing team.

The Role
As a Principal Consultant, you’ll be responsible for managing the most critical client and candidate relationships within your assigned industry. You will guide your team to deliver top-tier talent to clients while building strong partnerships that result in successful placements.
Day-to-Day Includes:
Client Influence & Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, ensuring the successful placement of candidates and driving offers.
Candidate Management – Inspire candidates to accept offers and support them through the transition to their new roles, ensuring long-term success.
Team Leadership – Manage and mentor a team of 4 Executive Consultants and a Sourcing Specialist, providing guidance and holding your team accountable to performance goals.
Strategic Decision Making – Oversee client and candidate negotiations, influencing hiring decisions and ensuring alignment with client needs.
High-Impact Placements – Drive the recruitment process to its conclusion by ensuring successful candidate placement and long-term satisfaction.
Performance Monitoring – Monitor your team’s performance, providing regular feedback and ensuring each team member meets their targets.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal Principal Consultant is an assertive and confident leader with a proven ability to manage key relationships, both internally and externally. You’ll have strong client influencing skills, an understanding of recruitment and sales, and the ability to inspire and lead your team to success.
We want someone who:
Has extensive experience in recruitment or sales, with a track record of successfully closing deals and leading high performing professionals (Can be sales, sports or military).
Is assertive, confident, and results-driven, with the ability to lead a team and influence others.
Has strong leadership abilities, including coaching and developing direct reports to exceed performance goals.
Enjoys managing key client relationships and driving offers that lead to successful placements.
Has a passion for business growth, client success, and candidate satisfaction.
Can handle multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Is motivated by success, both for themselves and their team.
Requirements
Extensive experience in recruitment or sales, with a focus on leadership and client management.
Proven track record of successfully placing candidates and managing client expectations.
Experience in leading and mentoring a team, driving performance and accountability.
Ability to influence C-suite executives and inspire candidates to take offers.
Must be based near or able to work from our Gold Coast office (Robina).
Strong tech literacy – Proficient in Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and CRM tools.
