About the role

As a Wills and Estates Lawyer at MMH Lawyers', you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal services to clients on a range of estate planning matters. This full-time position is based in our Avondale Heights or Geelong office, VIC, and offers the opportunity to work with a respected and growing legal firm.

What you'll be doing

Advising clients on the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents

Guiding clients through the probate process and the administration of deceased estates

Providing advice on trust structures, tax planning, and asset protection strategies

Assisting with the resolution of family disputes and contested wills

Representing clients in estate-related litigation matters

Maintaining a strong client-centric approach and ensuring excellent client service

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in law and admission to practice as a solicitor in Australia

3+ years of post-qualification experience specialising in wills, estates, and trust law

A strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and case law

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry changes
