Looking for a dynamic professional to join our boutique law firm in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Predominately practising in family law and must have a minimum of 3 years post admission experience. Broad range of responsibilities with increasing autonomy and strategic input to continue to grow the firm. Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice on family law matters including divorce, parenting arrangements, property settlements, and family violence.

Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.

Draft and review legal documents including affidavits, consent orders, and binding financial agreements.

Manage a caseload independently, while collaborating with the principal on complex matters.

Stay updated on legislative changes and case law developments in family law.

Mentor junior staff and paralegals.

Strong knowledge of the Family Law Act and related legislation.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage emotionally sensitive cases with empathy and professionalism.

Experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
