About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Lawyer to join our team, with a focus on Family and Migration Law. This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of post-admission experience who is passionate about delivering client-focused legal services.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Managing family and migration law files independently with appropriate supervision

Conducting legal research and providing sound advice to clients

Drafting legal documents, including affidavits, visa submissions, and parenting orders

Preparing and lodging applications with the Federal Circuit and Family Court, and the Department of Home Affairs

Attending court appearances, tribunal hearings, and mediations

Communicating professionally with clients, counsel, and third parties

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and file notes

Participating in team meetings and contributing to the firm’s ongoing improvement and client service

What We're Looking For

Full Australian working rights are essential

A minimum of 2 years post-admission experience, ideally with exposure to family and/or migration law

Strong drafting, research, and communication skills

Ability to manage files autonomously and work collaboratively in a team environment

A genuine interest in supporting clients through often complex and sensitive matters
