What's the role?

We are seeking a professional, friendly and detail-oriented Intermediate-Senior Account.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

Responsibility for the day-to-day preparation of annual financial statements, tax returns BAS for a wide range of clients. As a hands-on practice, your role may also include some client bookkeeping. You will apply your expertise to ensure accuracy in the completed reports, lodgements and associated workpapers.

Completing your work in a timely and efficient manner using our firm's well-established and well-designed workpapers, meeting targets.

Communicating regularly with our team members, while working with and reporting to our senior accountants and partners.

Interacting with clients, responding to issues in a practical way, providing our clients with a positive experience.

Working with team members to help each other and bringing a positive attitude to our workplace.

Requirements of the role

To excel in this role, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual with the following qualifications and experience:

Hold a tertiary accounting qualification.

Preferably CA or CPA qualifications (or studying for CA or CPA), demonstrating your commitment to professional growth and expertise in the field.

Previous experience in Public Practice producing accounting and tax work to a range of clients.

Possess a thorough understanding and hands-on experience with Income tax, CGT and GST.

Proficient with MYOB, Xero, and Excel
