About the role

As our Risk and Compliance Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting internal audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. You’ll help maintain risk and WHS registers, assist with policy updates, and collaborate with teams to embed a culture of quality and accountability. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who brings a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for working in the community services sector.

Your duties will include

Support the day-to-day administration of the Risk and Compliance team

Support delivery of internal audit schedules and compliance reviews

Assist with policy and procedure updates to meet changing regulations

Contribute to maintaining risk registers and WHS monitoring

Work collaboratively across teams to embed quality and compliance

Provide administrative and project support across risk, compliance and WHS functions

Preparing reports and documentation as required to support compliance, reporting, and operational planning.


About you

Essential

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Risk and Compliance Officer Role.

Highly developed documentation, record keeping and file management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience using Microsoft programs including SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.

ACT WWVP card with NDIS activities or willingness to obtain.

Obtained relevant certificate or currently studying.

Clinical experience or qualification

Experience in Aged Care or NDIS sector
