Fone Haus is Papua New Guinea's leading mobile phone and technology retailer with more than 25 branches across the country. As we expand our network of stores, we are now looking for a results driven RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER to lead our 400 strong team and continue to drive our company's strategy.
This is a full-time role based in Port Moresby and comes with an executive renumeration package aligned with this senior role.
The RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER will be responsible for leading all aspects of the retail performance across all of the Fone Haus locations in PNG. This senior leadership role will oversee store operations, people development, customer experience, visual merchandising and commercial results. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who is relentless in the pursuit of customer satisfaction. You will have experience leading multi-site stores and be outcome driven.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Lead day-to-day operations across the Fone Haus network of stores
Deliver on sales, profit, stock and customer KPI's
Manage and coach Regional and Store Managment Teams
Implement retail systems, SOP's and reporting framework
Champion of customer service, in-store experience and brand consistency
Coordinate with the Marketing, Supply Chain and IT teams to align on execution
Identify new store opportunities and lead store launches
Drive training and capability development opportunists for your team
Monitor and take action on Stock take outcomes, loss prevention and compliance measures
About you:
We are looking for a mature and dynamic RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER which aligns with the following skills and experience:
5+ Years in leading a multi-site retail environment
Proven track record in managing sales performance, store standards and people
Strong team development experience
Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills
Strong time management skills.
Self-motivated and results driven.
Ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders and develop those working relationships effectively
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Degree/Tertiary qualifications in Business, or a related field.
Current valid Passport and the ability to pass the required medical checks
