About Beachport Caravan Park

Beachport Caravan Park is a busy, well-established coastal accommodation business celebrating ~25 years of operations on South Australia's beautiful Limestone Coast.

Located at 23 Beach Road, Beachport will beachfront views over Rivoli Bay, right in the heart of town and across the road from the well maintained Golf Course.

Our comprehensive facility features 127 accommodation options including 95 powered tourist sites, 16 annual sites, 4 unpowered sites, 6 modern cabins (2-6 sleepers), 4 luxury Surfside apartments (6 sleepers each), and a Beach House (sleeps 12). We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced park manager couple to take ownership of our daily operations and become integral members of our close-knit team. This is an outstanding lifestyle opportunity that combines rewarding hospitality management with the benefits of coastal living in one of South Australia's most beautiful locations.

Total Package Value: $110,000 annual salary + Super + free 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom on-site residence

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Operations

Deliver exceptional customer service and manage guest relations

Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and complaints professionally

Provide after-hours emergency support and weekend coverage (7 days/week availability)

Manage check-ins, check-outs, and site allocations via RMS Cloud booking system

Coordinate with local tourism operators and maintain community partnerships

Staff Management & Leadership

Supervise and motivate our team of 3 dedicated cleaners

Schedule and coordinate housekeeping operations across all accommodation types

Conduct staff meetings and performance reviews

Ensure consistent service standards across all departments

Facility Maintenance & Safety

Perform general maintenance, repairs, and handyman duties across the park

Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain compliance with regulations

Manage emergency response procedures and incident reporting

Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance

Maintain amenities blocks, camp kitchen, playground, and common areas

Financial Management & Administration

Assist with daily financial reconciliation and reporting

Monitor occupancy rates and implement revenue optimization strategies

Manage petty cash and coordinate with accounting systems

Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports

Marketing & Community Engagement

Support marketing initiatives and social media presence

Engage with local businesses and tourism organizations

Assist with special events and seasonal promotions

Maintain positive relationships with repeat guests and caravan clubs

Essential Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

Proven experience as park managers in comparable caravan parks or tourist accommodation

Strong maintenance and handyman skills with ability to perform general repairs

Supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities

Computer proficiency, preferably with RMS Cloud or similar booking systems

Current driver's license and reliable transportation

Personal Attributes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional presentation and customer service focus

Flexibility and adaptability for emergency situations

Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills

Physical fitness for maintenance duties and active role requirements

Availability & Commitment

Commitment to long-term role (minimum 2+ years preferred)

Flexibility for after-hours emergencies and weekend coverage

Willingness to relocate to Beachport and embrace coastal community lifestyle

Desirable Qualifications

Tourism, hospitality, or business management qualifications

Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance, and emergency procedures

Budgeting and financial management experience

Previous experience with caravan park booking systems

First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Working Arrangements
