About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a field-based Product Specialist to join a global leader in agricultural machinery. Offering significant flexibility, you can be based anywhere in the key agricultural regions between Esperance and Geraldton.

This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about agricultural technology. You will spend considerable time on the road, travelling throughout the Western Australian dealer network to act as the go-to expert for an advanced range of seeding and tillage equipment. You will be instrumental in driving success by empowering dealers, training staff, and demonstrating product value directly to farmers.

Role responsibilities:

• Travel extensively through the dealer network to provide sales support.
• Provide expert product knowledge and training to dealer staff.
• Assist in the sales process by demonstrating product features and benefits.
• Attend and contribute to major field days and industry events.
• Serve as a direct brand representative to both dealers and customers.
• Report on market trends, competitor activity, and sales opportunities.

Required skills:

• Around five years' experience in agronomy, farm management, or machinery sales.
• In-depth knowledge of the Australian agricultural industry.
• A genuine passion for agricultural machinery and technology.
• The ability to work autonomously and manage your own travel schedule.

Previous exposure to Agricultural and Farming Machinery in a retail or wholesale environment is required for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as HORSCH, SeedMaster, Horwood Bagshaw, Flexicoil, Gason, KELLY Tillage, Grizzly, Simplicity Australia, John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Claas, Kubota, Deutz or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
