CNC Machininst/Programmer

Established in 1987, we are a precision machining manufacturer based in the mid Northern area, having other corporate manufacturing and production divisions.

A retirement after 22 years of service has created a role for a Permanent/Dayshift experienced CNC machininst programmer within our small team.

We have a range of CNC lathes and machining centres, including robot loading multispindle lathes, 120 tool change/ pallet change FMS horizontal machining centres and vertical machining centres across a variety of controllers - Mazak/Mazatrol, Fanuc, Anilam, Heidenhein etc which the successful applicant will manage.

Role:

Full Time, Permanent, Day shift position

Production, batch, machine scheduling

CADCAM and 3D solid modelling experience required

Tool setting and changing

Some G-code and Mazatrol programming required (Turning and Milling)

Training on all machines and systems is available, noting the role is for an experienced operator who can work independently

Design and Production of jigging and fixtures

Metrology, Go/NoGo and Quality Inspection- mostly to +/- 0.02mm

Use of PLC cut off saw, overhead crane, forklift, materials handling

Optical Inspection - optical comparator, measuring microscope

Parts Finishing, Production logging, Housekeeping
