About the Role

This is a permanent daywork position based in our Athol Park workshop. You will use your extensive experience as a CNC machinist along with your trade qualifications and skills, to produce a wide range of products for various industries.

We are looking for

A talented Machinist with outstanding CNC Machining Centre skills who can hit the floor running. The successful candidate must be trade qualified and demonstrate the skills and experience to undertake the following:

Read and interpreting technical drawings.

Determine the optimum machining operations required.

Write programs for CNC Machine Centre including live tooling.

Determine tooling requirements for the task at hand and set up the machine accordingly.

Troubleshooting and rectifying machining issues.

Safely operate CNC Machine Centres to achieve quality and efficiency targets.

Comply with company policies and procedures, including Quality and OHS&W.

The successful candidate will:

Have excellent problem-solving and practical machining skills with a hands-on approach.

Have a high level of attention to detail and personal pride in all aspects of your job.

Be a team player who can work independently and is happy to assist others.

Other qualities that would be beneficial:

Experience in a repetitive production machining environment

Knowledge of OKUMA and/or FANUC Controllers.

The ability to use Mastercam 2025 and CIMCO software.
