Your new role

As a Manual Machinist, you'll play a critical role in delivering the high-precision components that underpin the company's reputation for excellence across defence, aerospace, mining, and specialised manufacturing sectors. Working within a close-knit team of skilled tradespeople, you'll be responsible for operating manual lathes and mills to machine parts to exact specifications. A key part of your role involves interpreting complex blueprint drawings to ensure each component meets stringent quality and dimensional standards. What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience operating manual lathes and milling machines
• Ability to accurately read and interpret detailed engineering blueprints
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing precision components
• Solid understanding of tolerances, surface finishes, and machining best practices
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to technical challenges
