Your work directly supports the company's commitment to combining traditional machining expertise with cutting-edge production values, contributing to client satisfaction and long-term project success. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their craft, works well autonomously and in team settings, and values being part of a forward-thinking company that invests in its people and consistently delivers high-end manufacturing solutions.

  • Proven experience operating manual lathes and milling machines
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret detailed engineering blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing precision components
  • Solid understanding of tolerances, surface finishes, and machining best practices
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to technical challenges
  • Willingness to adapt and contribute within a fast-paced, innovation-driven workplace
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks in a project-based setting
  • Previous experience in low-to-medium volume production environments desirable

What you’ll get in return

  • Competitive hourly rate of $38-$40 + pens
  • Consistent 48-hour work weeks offering strong earning potential
  • Opportunity to work on a wide variety of unique and technically interesting projects
  • Daily problem-solving and hands-on machining that keeps work engaging
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture that values individual contribution
  • Ongoing professional development and upskilling opportunities
  • Stable, long-term position with a company known for its innovation and craftsmanship
  • Exposure to high-end manufacturing standards across multiple industries
