CARPENTER – WINDOWS & DOORS

Our business specializes in the fabrication and installation of windows and doors.

We are now seeking a Carpenter to join our team to construct and install timber and

aluminum window and door frames for both commercial and residential projects.

Your tasks will include:

 Interpreting construction drawings and specifications to ensure correct

dimensions, materials, and installation techniques

 Selecting, ordering and checking materials for quantity and quality

 Conducting site preparation including laying out materials, checking

appropriate tools and safety equipment available, and clearing work sites

 Measuring marking out cutting lines and cutting wood, aluminum and other

materials accurately using hand and power tools

 assembling prepared wood and other materials to form structures and

fittings ready to install

 Fitting and fixing frames into prepared openings, ensuring correct alignment

and weather-tight seals and installing hardware such as hinges, latches, and

locks

 Performing adjustments and minor repairs to framing during or after

installation

 Coordinating with builders, glaziers, and other trades to complete projects to a

high standard and within time frames

 Ensuring all work complies with Australian building codes, safety regulations,

and company quality standards

We are looking for a Carpenter with:

 Trade certificate in Carpentry or minimum 3 years’ experience

 Minimum 3 years' experience in carpentry / allied work, including on-site

fabrication, construction and installation of timber and metal structures

 Experience working with both aluminum and timber materials

 Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and technical

drawings

 Skilled in use of a variety of carpentry hand and electric tools and equipment,

including laser levels, saws, drills, and fixings

 Strong understanding of structural fitting, fixings, and safety protocols

 Experience working at heights and on commercial construction sites

 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and fitting components

 Strong communication skills for stakeholder liaison

 Team leadership skills

 C class clean driver license

We are offering a salary of $80 000 + superannuation for this full time employed

position.
