About the Role

This is more than a carpentry job — it’s an opportunity to apply your mastery of timber flooring to create beautiful, lasting spaces. From intricate staircases to large-scale flooring projects, you’ll work on high-end residential and commercial sites, ensuring every installation meets Lifewood’s exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install premium engineered timber floors in homes, retail spaces, and offices.

Execute complex staircase installations, including floating treads and custom designs.

Sand, polish, and finish flooring to a flawless luxury standard.

Read floor plans and work closely with site supervisors, designers, and clients.

Mentor apprentices and contribute to a culture of craftsmanship and excellence.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment on-site.

Skills and Experience

Minimum 3+ years of experience in timber flooring installation or related carpentry trade.

Proficient in various flooring systems: direct stick, floating floors, herringbone, chevron, and acoustic systems.

Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering a high-end finish.

Able to interpret technical drawings and client briefs confidently.

Physically fit and able to work efficiently under time constraints.

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

White Card required; relevant trade qualifications highly regarded.
