About the role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified HD Fitter to join our team as a Product Support role for the Merlo and Treemme range of equipment. This permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a genuine global company.
Main responsibilities include:
Providing dealer support across the East Coast to Service Personnel along with Parts and Service Advisors as required, helping with parts and any technical related issues that may arise.
Identify areas for improvement and work with the dealers to address any deficiencies in operational process
Escalate all issues to relevant department heads and within a timely manner
At all times maintain an open communication and good working relationship with dealers, peers and other departments
Ensure that all interactions with key stakeholders is professional and courteous as you are required to continuously 'Practice & Develop' the “Merlo Way”
To be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant Diesel Mechanic trade qualifications
Functional hydraulic understanding, along with fault diagnosis
Previous experience with frontline operational experience with the desire to develop
Previous experience with delivering training packages in a one on one or group scenario
Demonstrated background experience with Merlo and or any Telehandler equipment is desirable
Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationships
Safety focus and abide by site safety processes
