About the Role

We are seeking qualified and experienced Mobile Plant Mechanics with Caterpillar or similar brand surface mining equipment to diagnose and repair mechanical issues, conduct inspections on customer machines, and ensure the highest level of workmanship in a safety-conscious environment.

Reporting to the team lead, your role will be crucial in maintaining and repairing Off-Highway Trucks (OHTs), Dozers, Graders, and Drills, including models 789, 793, 777, D10, and D11, as well as some auxiliary equipment.

Roster and Remuneration

Lifestyle Roster - WORKING ONLY HALF THE YEAR!

• Complete your nights in 1 swing, every 3 weeks!
• Roster Pattern: 5D4O 5N4O - work 15 days out of 28
• Day shift: 0600-1830 & Night shift: 1800-0630 (12.5 HR shifts)
• Annual earnings UP TO $151k + Super + OT + SERVICE UTE

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology with industry experience is essential.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar or similar brand surface mining equipment is essential.
• Experience rebuilding mobile mining equipment is desirable.
• Attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks to meet Caterpillar quality standards.
