Mechanical Solution Services is a Mudgee based workshop and onsite heavy earth moving repair company.

We are currently seeking high level experienced open cut mining diesel plant mechanics/ diesel fitters for onsite roles.

The role: 7/7 12.5hr day/night rotating roster working primarily on large Caterpillar open cut mining equipment.

What you bring:

Trade qualification as a diesel plant mechanic or diesel fitter, with certificate of proficiency.

Must be able to pass pre employment medical including D&A testing.

Current valid Australian drivers license.

Proven experience working on open cut coal mines.

Proven experience working on Caterpillar heavy earth moving mining equipment.

Strong diagnostic skills on hydraulic, power train & engine systems.

A professional, happy can do attitude.
