We are a dynamic medtech startup dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative technology designed to tackle coronary artery disease, one of the worlds largest killers. Our solutions provide advanced medical imaging and analysis tools to help hospitals, clinics, physicians and researchers deliver more effective outcomes. As we build our cloud platform to drive advancements in coronary imaging and diagnostics, we're expanding our technical team and looking for both a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead technical initiatives and a Junior/Mid-level Full Stack Developer to contribute to our growing development efforts.

Who Are We Looking For?

Senior Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a passion for leading technical projects that can transform patient care. As the technical lead, you will drive the development of our web-based medical imaging platform and coronary analysis tools, using cutting-edge technologies such as Cornerstone.js. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver secure, scalable software that aids clinicians in diagnosing and treating coronary artery disease.

Junior/Mid Full Stack Developer

We're also looking for an enthusiastic Junior/Mid-level Full Stack Developer who is eager to grow their skills in the medical technology space. You'll work alongside our senior developers to build and maintain our platform, contributing to both frontend and backend development while learning about medical imaging technologies and healthcare software development.

What You'll Do:

Senior Developer:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance web applications for coronary imaging and analysis

Architect and build a zero-footprint, web-based medical imaging platform using Next.js and React

Mentor the junior developer(s) and establish best practices for the technical team

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards

Contribute to strategic technical decisions that align with the company's vision

Junior/Mid Developer:

Develop and maintain frontend components using React, TypeScript, and Next.js

Build and integrate backend services using FastAPI

Work with medical imaging technologies and learn DICOM standards

Collaborate with the senior developer to implement new features and improvements

Participate in code reviews and follow established development practices

Both Roles:

Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and product teams to develop solutions tailored to coronary artery disease diagnostics and treatment

Ensure software is secure, maintainable, and adheres to industry standards, including information security, quality control and other medical imaging standards

Stay up to date with advancements in medical imaging technologies and coronary artery disease research

Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of software systems

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring that the software meets the needs of healthcare professionals

Work with Kubernetes for deployment and container orchestration

What You'll Bring:

Senior Developer Requirements:

7+ years of proven experience in full stack development

Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js

Experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks

Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration (OpenShift experience a plus)

Experience developing web-based medical image viewers, ideally using Cornerstone.js

In-depth understanding of DICOM/PACS standards and medical imaging technologies

Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Comfort handling ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

Junior/Mid Developer Requirements:

3+ years of experience in full stack development

Solid foundation in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web development practices

Experience with Python and web frameworks (FastAPI experience preferred)

Familiarity with containerization and deployment technologies

Eagerness to learn about medical imaging technologies and healthcare software

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Bonus Points for Both Roles:

Experience using Cornerstone.js or other medical imaging libraries

Previous work in healthcare or medical technology

Experience with OpenShift or other Kubernetes distributions

Knowledge of DICOM/PACS standards and medical imaging workflows

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
