About the Role:
Jigsaw Blue is seeking reliable and value-driven Disability Support Workers to deliver active individualised person-centred supports across Melbourne’s Southeast.
You will help participants live independently, safely, and meaningfully within their homes and communities, using Active Support to encourage skill-building, choice, and engagement in daily life.
We’re looking for adaptable people who are passionate about helping others. If you enjoy meaningful work, variety in your day, and supporting people to build confidence and independence — we’d love to hear from you.
Applicants must be willing and able to travel to all the following locations:
Belgrave South

Koo Wee Rup
Shift Times:
2000-2230 + S/O + 0630-1200 (8 hrs + sleepover)
0700-1500 (8 hrs)
1200-2000 (8 hrs)
1500-2230 (7.5 hrs)
A typical day may include:
Supporting daily living needs such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, and transport
Promoting choice, independence, and confidence using an Active Support Model
Facilitating community participation, social engagement, and daily routines
Implementing behaviour and support plans with empathy and consistency
Accurately documenting progress and communicating with your manager and co workers

What we’re looking for:
A passion for supporting people with disabilities and a commitment to person-centred care
Ability to implement Active Support in daily practice
Strong crisis management, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to follow behaviour support plans
Reliability, flexibility, and a professional work ethic
Capacity to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Requirements:
Certificate III in Disability (or working towards)
Full Australian Driver's Licence, reliable vehicle & insurance
Current First Aid and CPR
NDIS ‘Quality, Safety and You’ Certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Willing to obtain a Police Check
Working with Children Check
