Maintenance Electrician – Afternoon Shift | Leading Food Manufacturer | Broadmeadows

Location: Broadmeadows, VIC
Shift: Monday to Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM + overtime guarenteed each week!

Overtime: Weekly overtime is offered when you want it! 1.5 for the first 3 hours then double time!

We are a globally recognised food manufacturer with a proud Australian footprint, known for producing high quality, household favourite products. As we continue to expand and invest in our Broadmeadows site, we're on the hunt for a Maintenance Electrician to join our afternoon shift team.

Your Role: As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our production runs smoothly, safely and efficiently. You'll be part of a close knit maintenance team, working across a variety of automated processing and packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform reactive and preventative electrical maintenance on food manufacturing equipment
• Fault finding on PLC controlled machinery (Siemens/Allen Bradley advantageous)
• Minimise downtime and troubleshoot equipment failures promptly
• Support project work and installation of new equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times

What You’ll Bring:

• A Grade Electrical Licence (Essential)
• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments
• Strong fault finding skills and understanding of automation
• Knowledge of OH&S procedures and safe work practices
• Great attitude and willingness to be part of a fast paced, dynamic team
