MAINTENANCE FITTER – AFTERNOON SHIFT | JOIN A LEADING FOOD MANUFACTURER

Location: Craigeburn, Melbourne
Shift: Afternoon 3pm-11pm Monday to Friday
Type: Full Time | Permanent - Food Manufacturing
Rate: $57 + super + overtime (there is heaps of overtime, it is expected you chip in but not mandatory)

As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll be the first line of defence in keeping critical production lines moving, preventing breakdowns, and eliminating downtime. You won’t just fix problems - you’ll solve them before they happen, working with a proactive, safety first mindset alongside a crew that values quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on high speed manufacturing equipment
• Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical machinery with precision
• Working closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations
• Actively contributing to process and equipment improvements
• Maintaining detailed maintenance records and documentation

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Trade qualified Fitter or Certificate 3 Mechanical Trade
• Experience in fast paced manufacturing - food, beverage, or FMCG
• Strong knowledge of pumps, conveyors, pneumatics, gearboxes, and packaging machinery
• Safety first attitude with the drive to work efficiently under pressure
• Team player mindset with a passion for fixing, building, and improving
