About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Automation Electrician to join our team at GPS Electrical services' in Campbellfield, Victoria. This is a full-time, permanent role

Afternoon / Dayshift 4 Days per week

3 Afternoons Monday to Wednesday 1 pm to 11 pm

1 Dayshift Friday 6 am to 2 pm

1 Rdo per month

What you'll be doing

Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment, automation systems, and control panels

Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and automation issues

Programming and configuring Siemens PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems

Interpreting electrical and automation schematics

Completing all work in accordance with relevant safety standards and regulations

ABB drives

Collaborating with the wider maintenance team to ensure efficient operations

What we're looking for

Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of electrical principles, control systems, and automation technologies

Proficient in programming and configuring PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems

Ability to read and interpret electrical and automation schematics

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Commitment to working safely and adhering to all relevant regulations

Effective communication and teamwork skills
